Andrew Moore

Andrew has over 18 years’ experience of leading NGO operations. Andrew started his career as an Officer in the British Army. It was while serving in Bosnia, that he became interested in humanitarian and development operations.

Since moving to the sector in 2000 Andrew has managed humanitarian and development operations in some of the most complex and challenging environments in the world including Eritrea, Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen. Andrew has worked for a cross section of actors including NRC, Childfund International, UNOPs and Save the Children.

Key to Andrew’s work has been leading strategic organisational change at  country level and at international headquarters. Over the years, he has seen significant changes in the sector with an increased reliance on partnership with the corporate consulting sector to deliver organizational change, increase accountability and drive effective and efficient progamming. Andrew believes that it is now time to look within, use the deep pool of talented sector professionals combined with corporate best practice, to deliver the change the sector needs.

Andrew has a Master of Science Degree in Development & Security from the University of Bristol.
