Chris has over 15 years experience across the corporate and humanitarian sector, and is a certified Prince2 Practitioner and Humanitarian Programme Manager. Starting his career with Accenture on outsourcing projects for multi-national clients, Chris moved into the humanitarian sector in 2006 where he has filled a number of senior management field roles. He is currently also co-founder of Fieldworks, a start-up that aims to empower local organisations to gain access to financial and human resources globally.
At Accenture Chris worked in the European outsourcing team leading a number of workstreams to outsource IT and back office activities focussing on cost-effectiveness and improved operational delivery. He developed extensive experience on project and service management before moving into the humanitarian sector to work with Merlin. He has held key roles in humanitarian responses in Myanmar, South Sudan and Haiti for organisations including Acted, Save the Children, Plan and Christian Aid. Most recently he worked as global logistics manager at Save the Children developing and implementing organisation wide initiatives including logistics key performance indicator framework, supply chain efficiencies methodology and software solutions for warehousing and procurement planning.
His areas of expertise include organisational development and management, project management, and a healthy dose of cynicism.
